The development of our agricultural ventilation program started more than 35 years ago with a thermostat controlled propeller fan.

From this we have gradually moved towards complete solutions for livestock and for equipement for storage of agricultural products, marketed as the Optimavent systems.

Products in the agricultural field must resist corrosion, dust, humidity and fluctuations in temperature. In our product range this has been taken care of using:
- Freon free Polyurethane and plastics
- Metal parts of stainless steel
- Motors specially build for speed control and totally enclosed. All parts linked together for easy cleaning and a high standard of hygiene.

To meet the future requirements to profitable farming, we work closely with research institutions at home and abroad.

Today our systems are recognized and marketed in a number of countries within Europe as well as in USA, Canada, Japan, Korea and Australia.

Our ventilation department manufactures axial and centrifugal fans for most applications. The main activity is, however, fans for industry, offshore, ship ventilation and heavier fans for ventilation.

To ensure that we are at the forefront of technology, we have established a close cooperation with other companies in the field. The most important one is our licency agreement with Chicago Blower Corporation, USA.

Due to an increased demand for fans in special materials, we have specialized in manufacturing fans in stainless steel and aluminium, adapted to customers specifications.

Our references are found within areas such as the wood products industry, wood drying, refrigeration and freezing plants, process ventilation, SES main fans and off-shore installations.

J.L. Bruvik AS was established in 1940. It's main activities hs been production of materials handling and ventilation equipment.

The facilities comprise a modern factory and office building of approx. 7.000 square meters. The factory is equipped with modern machinery and efficient computerised systems to ensure good control and management.

Our human team is our most important resource. We have a skilled staff of 40 employees on all levels with long experience.
